Industrial Waste Disposal and Removal Services
Ethical &
Sustainable
In recent years, sustainability has focused strongly on the environmental remediation field and this specialist area is part of our service provision. Not only can we undertake the identification, removal and reinstatement work required, but we can also successfully process the majority of the contaminated waste material that comes from such sites. A large percentage of the company’s capital investment has been directed to ‘best practice’ initiatives – whether it be a mixed construction waste processing facility or a ‘state-of-the-art’ landfill construction and operation, that will allow for valuable land to be successfully developed in the future for other uses.

Recycling Services
Australia’s landfills and waste diversion programs have come a long way in the past thirty years, to a point where C&D materials, once the largest contributor to landfills nationally, are now a major raw material source. Timber waste can also be stockpiled and processed for future energy generation or a variety of landscaping mulch products. Hi-Quality processes concrete, asphalt, construction and demolition rubble which are recycled into quality specification construction and fill products. Soils are also blended with other materials like green waste to create a range of high quality landscaping products.
Hi-Quality has designed its key facilities to offer a ‘one stop shop’ solution – where customers can deliver building and excavation recyclables and backload recycled and quarried construction and landscaping products. The savings in transportation alone are considerable and contribute significantly to the sustainable model.
Landfill Services
A vital community service
Hi-Quality operates several major landfill sites which are essential in any major city. While much of the Company’s operations focus on diverting reusable and recyclable waste from landfills, a shrinking percentage of this material can only be disposed of at these facilities.
Land is a significant component of the earth’s life support system and an increasingly precious resource. It is also a vital factor for economic production. Generations of Industrial activity over the past 100 years and more, when few environmental standards were identified or administered, have resulted in tens of thousands of contaminated land sites that are now being progressively remediated for future use.
In recent years, sustainability has focused strongly on the environmental remediation field and this specialist area is part of the Hi-Quality service provision. Not only can the Company undertake the identification, removal and reinstatement work required, but we can also successfully process the majority of the contaminated waste material that comes from such sites.
Hi-Quality engineers and builds state-of-the-art landfill cells, which encapsulate this waste safely and securely. Once a cell is filled, it is then sealed, capped, re-profiled and landscaped and then monitored well into the future.
The Company’s Sunbury Eco-Hub landfill has the greatest capacity of any facility in Melbourne and is vitally important when emergencies occur such as major bushfire events, heavy equipment accidents or industrial fires. This facility is also licensed to accept prescribed industrial waste (PIW) and fulfils a vital community service in this regard.
