The Hi-Quality Group was established over 50 years ago and proudly remains an Australian family owned business employing over 100 employees and permanent contractors.
The business was started in 1964 by Jim Hallinan, as Hallinans Haulage, a single quarry business and bulk transport contractor. Jim’s son Pat joined the business in 1969, developing the company into to a multidisciplinary contractor and a major integrated natural resource and recycled products supplier with associated businesses.
The business continues to be capably led by Pat Hallinan and supported by an Executive Management Committee consisting of Pat’s sons, Stephen, Adam and Bryan and senior managers within the business.
The Hi-Quality Group’s head office is situated at Kemps Creek, where general management and finance is located along with the transport division, maintenance workshop and landscaping yard.
The Victorian division and regional office is located on the Bulla site, which consists of a hard rock and sand quarry, resource recovery and recycling operation and a landfill.
The Hi-Quality Group offers unrivalled knowledge and technical expertise, exceeding our customer’s expectations by providing quality services with a commitment to cost and time efficiencies, superior service and safe work practices.

2019
Hi-Quality further expanding to the Queensland and ACT also offering new services and became a leader of the market providing total solution for big construction, recycling and remediation market.

2013
The business continues to be capably led by Pat Hallinan and supported by an Executive Management Committee consisting of Pat’s sons, Stephen, Adam and Bryan and senior managers within the business.

1969
Jim’s son Pat joined the business and developing the company into a multidisciplinary contractor and a major integrated natural resource and recycled products supplier with associated businesses.

1964
Start of the company under the name Hallinans Haulage. Founded by Jim Hallinan starting a big journey with a first truck and a single quarry.
