Heavy Vehicle Mechanic - Afternoon Shift

Hi-Quality Group, a highly reputable privately owned Australian family company, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our Afternoon Shift workshop team based at Kemps Creek.

Our company specialises in quarry operations, resource recycling, landfills, and transport and logistics with operations across NSW and in Victoria. We have been established for over 50 years and are currently going through a phase of expansion.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

  • Trade qualification/Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanics

  • Current drivers licence

  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical/ electrical/ hydraulic faults

  • Experience performing routine maintenance on truck and trailers

  • Minimum 5 years industry experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong commitment to working at a high standard with emphasis on quality workmanship with excellent work ethics

  • Committed toward Workplace Health & Safety

  • Reliable, self motivated with good time management skills

  • Flexibility to work reasonable amount of overtime when required, including at least every second Saturday

Desirable Criteria:

  • HR licence an advantage

  • Experience with Mack, Kenworth and Western Star will be highly regarded
