The Hi-Quality Group's Sunbury Quarry produces a wide range of products primarily derived from our deposits of Blue Metal (Basalt), Sand and Clay materials. These Basalt and sand deposits has provided The Hi-Quality Group with significant resources located within close proximity to the Melbourne CBD. The Hi-Quality Group's quarry products consist of Basalt Concrete Aggregates which are ideal and certified for use in all concrete and asphalt applications, The Hi-Quality Group's basalt product range are tested and meet the requirements for VIC roads specifications for high strength concrete. The Quarry also has vast deposits of naturally occurring sand materials that are ideal for ready mix concrete applications, the production of concrete products and asphalt production. These materials are in high demand and The Hi-Quality Group is committed to providing our customers with the long-term, high-volume supply of quality assured sand and basalt products. The Hi-Quality Group also operates a Prescribed Industrial Waste (PIW) landfill and recycling facility on this site that is consistent and meets all VIC EPA approvals and Environmental requirements, materials that can be disposed of at this site include: * Category C Contaminated Soil * Acid-Sulphate soil * Cleanfill * Cleanfill with < 1% Asbestos * Cleanfill with Odour * Cleanfill with Rubble * Clean Compactable Clay
